About Us
“I think that most people just think that I hold a camera and point at stuff,
but there is a *heck* of a lot more to it than just that.”-Larry the Cameraman (”Groundhog Day”)
As humorous as this quote from “Groundhog Day” is, there really is truth to it. Anyone can point a camera and press record, but there is an art to capturing each moment and telling a story through compelling video and sound.
Nate McLaughlin has been a professional photojournalist/videographer
from the day he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts. His interest
in videography began as a child, during the days of the full-size VHS
camcorders. Since then, a variety of video formats have come and gone,
but Nate’s passion for shooting remains stronger than ever.
His work has been honored by the Associated Press, Society of
Professional Journalists and National Press Photographers’ Association.
“The awards are always nice to see,” says Nate. “But the most rewarding feeling for me is to be able to work with a couple and help tell the story of one of the most important days of their life.”
